FOLABOMI SALAMI is an Advertising practitioner with over 20 years’ experience.  During this period, she has worked in some of Nigeria’s leading Agencies. She is currently the Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer at DKK, a full service marketing communications firm.

In her current role she oversees the Agency’s core businesses, coordinating the execution of brand plans and projects for positive customer experience and brand building. Her role also positions her as Clients’ most senior contact person on all services – Advertising, Digital Marketing, PR and Event.

Bomi began her vibrant career at Prima Garnet Ogilvy, where she worked for over seven years. At Prima Garnet, she functioned as a strategic thinker and planner, who was pivotal to the growth of such brands as Econet Wireless, now Airtel; Multichoice; and Fidelity Bank. Until her move to DKK in 2012, ‘Bomi was an Account Director at Yellow Brick Road (formally ZK Advertising), where her primary assignment was to nurture the Zain brand (now Airtel).

In pursuit of her passion for empowering women and in recognition of her contribution to the activities of Women in Successful Careers (WISCAR), an NGO, Folabomi was invited by the Board to serve as a member of the PR/Marketing and Event Subcommittee from 2018 to date. 

Bomi holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) in Economics, both from the University of Lagos.  She has attended many courses on leadership and capacity building. She is an Associate member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and in her spare time, she reads from her eclectic collection of books.
