Amb. Dr. Lola Odeyale Ayo-Fashida, aka Icon of Fragrance, is a multiple award winning Nigerian based Finance and Management Consultant, an author with six books, global speaker, Inspirational Leader, transformational coach, humanitarian and philanthropist whose passion is in life improvement, leadership development, financial literacy and advancement.

Her education started out from Central Bank Primary School. Satellite town Lagos from where she moved to Federal Government Girls’ College, Sagamu for her secondary education. She studied Microbiology from the University of Ibadan for her undergraduate, went ahead to bag a Masters in Business Administration (Human resources) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She has her second masters in Career Counselling from University of Ibadan and furthered to have PhD in Personnel Psychology from the same University.

She has been a professional in the finance, human resources management and other industries ranging from manufacturing to healthcare to education to banking and consulting for more than two decades. She has entrepreneurship knowledge of different business endeavours and a fellow of several professional institutions within Nigeria and outside, these include: Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (FITD); Fellow, Institute of Management consultants, Nigeria (FIMC); Fellow, International Certified Risk and Management Practitioners, UK (FICRMP,UK); Fellow, Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (FCE); Fellow, Chartered Institute of Loan and risk management, Nigeria (FCILRM); Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) FNIM); Fellow, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigeria (FCIPM); Fellow, Chartered Institute of Mentoring and Coaching of Nigeria, (FCIMCN).

She is an advocate for women empowerment, youth development and children enlightenment; an inspirational speaker for women, children and business conferences. She has impacted over 120000 children, young adults and women in various areas since the inception of her profession. She is a John Maxwell Beyond Success facilitator, a certified transformational, life and business coach. She is a coach and mentor on several prestigious platforms locally and internationally, such as PAWEN, WIMBIZ, LEAP Africa, Donors for Africa, Flourish Africa, Treasure Refuge Foundation, Create Initiative, Young Mothers Initiative and Sightsavers through CIPM. She has mentored more than 500 gentleman and ladies.

She is the convener of Finance and Investment South West summit, an annual summit held to proffer solutions to topical issues; a faculty member/facilitator at New Nation Business Academy, a Lead Consultant and board member of five enterprises. She anchored a radio program on Diamond Fm 101.1 University of Ibadan tagged “Moment to Learn with Lola (MTLWL)” where she teaches life principles and skills for making lives better from May 2020 to May 2022. Currently she uses her YouTube channel for this purpose and also a platform tagged Fragrant Life Series.

She served as 1994 set representative from January 2018 to November 2019, after that she served as Oyo State team lead from November 2019 to December 2024 before talking on the position of the National President of FGGC Sagamu Alumni Association starting January 11, 2025, a position she is currently serving in.

She serves as President of Outpour of Fragrances initiative, a social enterprise focused on impacting vulnerable children, youths and women in the society with projects promoting no poverty, quality education, gender equality, decent work and economic empowerment.

Due to her impacts over the years through her NGO, enterprises and mentoring platform, in May 2024, she was appointed an Ambassador for UN Women Girls/Women Speak Ambassador and in November 2024, she was appointed as a Peace Ambassador of Nigeria. She has been nominated for many awards and won more than thirty awards in and outside Nigeria; presents on radio and television for several programs towards family growth, youth and national development.

Dr. Lola aka Icon of Fragrance is a deep lover of music with two albums, “A f’ope” and “Lori Oke mimo”; she loves dancing and travelling; married and blessed with lovely children.
