Kafilat Taiwo is the National Vice President of FGGC Sagamu Alumni Association. She graduated from FGGC Sagamu in 2014 and holds a Higher National Diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. She is a dynamic media and development professional working at the intersection of accountability, gender inclusion, and democratic governance across Nigeria and Africa. A passionate advocate for women and girls. She combines her communication expertise with data-driven approaches to amplify voices and advance social change.

She is a recipient of the prestigious International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) Scholarship for the elite Data Journalism Training Program at the University of Maryland, U.S. She is also a Gender Equality Award winner, and a fellow of the African Investigative Journalism Conference (AIJC) at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
