Adeola Balogun, the Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Limlim Foods Production Company Ltd, is experienced and dedicated in the African agricultural food processing industry. With a background as a Chartered Accountant, she is committed to driving innovation and transformative change in the industry to enhance food security. Adeola is dedicated to reducing post-harvest losses in Nigeria by working closely with key stakeholders including small holder farmers and promoting sustainable agricultural food processing businesses, as well as offering valuable guidance to prospective players in the sector.

Limlim Foods Production Company is a leading company in Nigeria, known for its innovative work in transforming locally sourced ingredients into high-quality freeze-dried fruit snacks, Egg powder and meals. The company has accomplished notable milestones, such as the successful production of freeze-dried egg powder and a wide variety of ready-to-drink pepper soup products. At Limlim Foods, we prioritize maintaining the highest standards in our operations. We utilize advanced freeze-drying techniques to ensure that our products maintain their quality and nutritional integrity. The facility has obtained approvals from both NAFDAC and FDA, demonstrating a commitment to international standards and ongoing improvements in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.

Adeola Balogun has had a long and successful career in leading financial institutions in Nigeria. Her impressive experience includes significant responsibilities at Unilever and Cadbury, where she held positions such as Treasurer, Management Accountant, and oversaw Commercial Finance and Supply Chain Finance. She successfully managed operations in four West African factories, highlighting her diverse skill set. Adeola’s dedication to entrepreneurship and personal growth is evident in her involvement in esteemed programs and networks. She has participated in notable initiatives such as AWEC, Founders Institute, AWE, AWP, and has been recognized as an Alumni of Fate Foundation ScaleUp Agribusiness class of 2022. Additionally, she is a Cascador fellow, a program specifically designed for mid-stage entrepreneurs in Africa.
