In line with the constitution and according to the Companies and Allied Matters Act (Cap. C20, Laws of the Federation, 2004), there shall be a Board of Trustees for the association, who shall act in good faith and at all times in the interest of the Association to ensure that the Association’s finances, operations, procedures are in accordance with the constitution and the assets are safeguarded.

The association is managed by a board of dedicated volunteers from all walks of life who are old students with the main aim of providing advice and guidance to the Executive Committee.

Fadekemi Oludolapo Akintoye (NEE EKEADE) – 1995 Set Chairman, Board of trustees

Fadekemi was the pioneer president, federal government girl’s college sagamu alumni association (2000-2018), and became the pioneer Chairman of the Association Presently she is the Head, branch services, first bank of Nigeria limited.


She is a fellow, chartered institute of finance and control (FCIFCN), associate member chartered inst. Of personnel management of Nigeria (ACIPMN), member chartered inst. Of loan and risk management (MCILRM), associate member Nig. Inst. Of management, chartered (AMNIM),

Born 11th March 1978, she is a member of the 1995 set and served as Ethiope House Captain (junior block). She obtained a B.SC in sociology from Olabisi Onabanjo University, ago-iwoye and an MBA – human resources management from Lagos state university, Ojo.

Olusile Moteleola Taiwo 2006 Set Secretary 

Moteleola Olusile is a goal-oriented, purpose-driven, and enterprising fast-rising lawyer working as an Associate with Ikeyi Shittu & Co, a law firm situated in Lagos and is presently focusing on the legal aspects of Corporate and Commercial Law, and Banking and Finance.


She is an Alumni member of the 2006 set and attended the University of Lagos before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School and being called to the Nigerian Bar in 2014. She started her law career as an Associate with Chris Ogunbanjo LP and practiced in Corporate Law and Regulatory Compliance, Company Secretarial, Property and Real Estate Advisory, and Intellectual Property.

She has acted as Company Secretary for a number of companies, arranged and attended numerous board, committed, and annual general meetings. She has also facilitated numerous cross-border transactions and advised foreign investors looking to start up business in Nigeria.

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Intellectual Property Lawyers Association of Nigeria (IPLAN), the International Trademark Association (INTA), and the Anti-Counterfeiting Collaboration (ACC).

Mrs. Oyindamola Olufunmilayo Sonola 1980 Set Member

Mrs. Oyindamola Olufunmilayo Sonola is an experienced and qualified education consultant and trainer with over 30 years of teaching, consulting, and administrative experience. She is presently the CEO, Education Consultant & trainer of Soams Creative Education & Consultancy.


She is an Alumni member of the 1980 set (first set of A’Level graduates) and has a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling, Certificate in Montessori education, a certificate in Core Consulting and has attended various training and workshops on Educational Management, leadership, Management, and Curriculum Development both in Nigeria and abroad.

Oyindamola Sonola is an experienced teacher, coach, mentor, and leader with a proven track record of organizational and technical skills which has enabled her to chair a number of conferences locally, nationally and internationally and has featured prominently at various training workshops organized by worldwide renowned organizations such as HighScope, UNICEF, Cambridge, DEEPEN and OMEP.

She is currently the Nigeria National Secretary of OMEP (Organisation Mondiale pour L’Education Prescolaire), the World Organisation for Early Childhood Education. She is also a member of HighScope Great Britain & HighScope Educational Foundation USA, NAEYC (National Association of Education of Young children) the United States of America.

She has also associated with high profile Nigerian capacity building training programs such as the Lagos State Government- ‘Eko Project’, sponsored by the World Bank, collaborated with Accelerated Learning Systems, Nigeria & UK and Cambridge and DEEPEN Project on school improvement services for private low-cost primary schools in Lagos state; Sustainable Education Enterprise Development’ (SEED: a training of owners of low-cost private schools in Lagos on sustainable ways to run schools on effective business model); OMEP, Lagos Teacher Training in conjunction with facilitators from East London University. The UK.

She has collaborated with the Public State Service Development Centre (PSSDC), Meadow hall Consult, Corona Teacher Training College, Unilag Consult, SUBEB, The Redeemers Schools Management (CRSM), to train teachers in all levels of the education sector.

She is the first Nigerian HighScope endorsed trainer and an accredited Health & Safety Administrator with Lagos State Safety Commission. Involved in Safety audit of Early childhood centers, primary and Secondary schools in Lagos State.

She has numerous national and international recognitions for her Initiatives, Projects & Research, her most recent is the ‘2020 HighScope Hero’ to mark the 50th year of High Scope Education Research Foundation as a leading early childhood education research organization and provider of high-quality education, assessment and curriculum tools for young children, she was selected based on her impactful work in the field of education. She has also been recognized ESD & World OMEP, OMEP World Assembly & Conference, and UNICEF among others.

She is on the Board of Christ Redeemers Schools Management (CRSM) and is on the Governing Council member of Incubator Africa Limited (IAL). Oyindamola is also on the advisory board of TEMBO Education.

She is a member of the Full Gospel Business Men International and CNA. She also has a passion for helping less privileged individuals.

Biodun Akede(Orisawayi) 1986 Set Member 

Biodun Funmilayo Akede (nee Orisawayi) Born is the Executive Director of International Express Logistics services Limited and also…


…the Executive Director of Preferred Home Stores Ltd, a company that deals in the supply and sale of household commodities. She started her career in 1996 with Texaco Nigeria Plc after successfully completing her NYSC with Nigerian Agip Oil company Portharcourt 1995 She Went into Freight forwarding and Logistics in 2003 and belongs to Project Cargo network the UK and World Cargo Network association the USA. She has also attended several project cargo conferences across the globe.

As a Rotarator at the University of Jos, she was a club secretary and former Rotarian at the Rotary Club of Agege. She attended Maryland convent private primary school, Federal School of Arts and Science, Lagos in 1987, University of Jos, Plateau state.BSc Political science in 1994 and is an Alumni member of the 1986 set.

Back in school she played lawn tennis, participated in March past, and played hockey. She is currently the secretary of the 1986 alumni set.

Omolara Turton 2001 Set Member

Omolara is Currently Creative Director La’peculia event management services, a company located in Lagos-Nigeria aimed at providing a memorable impression for all your events.


She is a Partner at Lamb’s heart foundation, The Welfare officer of Sorella’s Circle and Coordinator of Skill incubator acquisition at The Harvestworld Church.

As an Alumni of the 2001 set of FGGC Sagamu, she obtained a BA in English from NOUN University and a
Basic and advanced computer training certification from HIIT Institute. She worked with Outreach Secure as a Business development officer and attended Busybee Event Academy

Adebukunola Baruwa 1988 Set Member

Adebukunola Baruwa is the Chief Executive Officer of Yembar Ventures, an indigenous manufacturer of Wax crayon and brand ambassador for MIEMIE Wax Crayon.


She is also a Finance Expert with over 25 years in the Financial Sector (Finance, Mortgage, Commercial, Microfinance Banking, and Insurance). She has a quest for a challenging business life that will make the best use of her ability while creating an avenue for people and self-development as well as adding value to her business.

Her last stint with paid employment was as the Ag, Chief Operating Officer of Treasures Microfinance Bank in 2013 and obtained her MBA(Banking and Finance) from ESUT Business School in 2001, a B.Ed in Geography from Ogun State University in 1992 and is an Alumni member of the 1988 set

As a Strong communicator and analytical thinker, she mentored the SS1 – SS3 students of her Alma-mater, FGGC Sagamu, on the application of skills learned during the 2019 Skill Acquisition Program (S.P.U.R) organized by the Alumni Association.

Oby Akachukwu (Ada Iloka) 1994 Set Member 

Oby is a serial entrepreneur and presently the CEO of Jesmary Solutions Limited, a company located in Lagos and deals in the production of household toiletries and cleaning agents.


She is a member of the 1994 set and attended Onwards nursery and primary school, State grammar school, MBE institute, and Nnamdi Azikiwe University. She is a member of the Full Gospel Business Men International and CNA. She also has a passion for helping less privileged individuals.
