Why we give back
Giving back to school is our little way of showing love, of expressing a sense of belonging and commitment to our Alma Mater and most importantly a way of saying a big thank you to God for sparing our lives, for what we have become or achieved.
Giving back also prepares and motivates the current students of the college to do the same in the nearest future when they become alumni members.
Ways to give back
Sponsor A Programme or Project
So many opportunities exist for giving back to our Alma Mater such as:
- Infrastructure Improvement projects
- Academic support projects
- Manpower support projects
- Students support projects
- Support for students scholarship
- Training and skills aquisition projects
- Alumni office support
- Events support
Members of various set clubs are encouraged to rise to this occasion of giving back. And if the budget seems daunting, sets can come together to work on projects or collaborate on even existing ones. The National Executives provides support in finding the right projects and programmes to take on
Give Your Time
Providing mentorship, training, support and guide for the current students of the Alma Mater and Sagamite sisters in need will always help to promote love, care and wellbeing of one another. Some of the ways to give your time include:
- Visit the Alma-Mater to motivate, encourage and mentor students.
- Help a Sagamite sister to get a job
- Serve the Alumni in official capacity.
- Use your good office and influence to support the Alumni.
- Stand in the gap for each other – for a child, a husband, a job, a business.
