Induction of new members: 2019 set

The class of 2019 held their valedictory service on the 28th of July, 2019, this event was another opportunity for the association to officially welcome 252 new members into the alumni as the 2019 set. The induction part of the service was in the form of a candle-lighting ceremony. The National President, Mrs. Titilayomi Akinseinde, was the first to light her candle which lit the candles of other Executives and members present who in turn lit the candles of our new members till all candles were lit.

The action, Titilayomi, explained signifies the love we expect to show and carry on by helping others, a bond like no other. After all, candles had been lit, the statement of commitment was read and recited by all.

Our Statement of Commitment

“I,……(mention your name), set of 2019 do hereby solemnly pledge to continually and unconditionally uphold the name of my Alumni, Federal Government Girls College Sagamu, the old girls association, our families and to be great and worthy Ambassadors of the country, Nigeria within and beyond.

I shall commit my time and resources to uphold its mandate as an Ambassador of FGGC, Sagamu.
